Ancient Charm, New Singing: A Collection of Classical Chinese Poetry and Prose Recited and Sung

Features: This book treats the readers randomly without any frames; the expressions are for reference only, except for "Reading Meng Changjun's Biography," which is a playful joke about "The Stubborn Old Man," emphasizing "cartoon-like." The readers' clear recitations will enhance the book's charm. This book is an experimental innovation in recitation tones; amidst apparent incongruity, some passages may have a stern rhythm. Even if we go one step further, this is definitely not the mournful cry of a cicada or the chirping of autumn insects; it might be a suppressed thunderous drum, or the sorrowful wind and hidden thunder lingering at the tip of the green reeds. The grand righteousness of the Chinese nation, the bold and straightforward spirit of the grassland, is bound to linger between the music, rhythm, and language. Without prejudice, take it seriously, and you will discover the jade fragments of Kunshan and the half-plumage of the majestic phoenix. The elegant and knowledgeable will naturally have their unique insights and literary hearts. In terms of music, this book is more about approaching modern four tones rather than the main point, which is to personalize recitation and free it from all artificial shackles. Whether it can be achieved is another matter; the spirit of exploration should never cease. At the end, we sincerely hope experts and readers will take the time to correct and guide, including this "discourse from the outside." Using the word formation method of the Book of Songs, the attitude of a brick-thrower can only be: "I sing and chant," and only wait for your discussion!
