Features: Through research and comparison, I sincerely hope that this set of scientifically, systematically, and concise "Selected Exercises for Beginning Violinists" (Volumes 1 and 2) can be published in China. I aspire to publish and promote these exercise books in China because they are based on modern violin teaching principles, following a scientific training sequence. Existing exercises have been carefully selected, and the outstanding ones have been systematically and meticulously arranged, enabling students to master the basic techniques of violin playing more quickly and firmly. Volume 1 includes 19 simple preparatory exercises, 66 position exercises, and 15 simple double-stopping exercises at the end. Volume 2 features preparatory exercises for shifting positions and exercises by、, etc., laying a solid foundation for shifting positions. Additionally, I believe that precise intonation, strict rhythm, and rich tone production are the basic requirements for playing the violin well. Therefore, from the very beginning of learning these exercises, we must strive to meet these basic requirements. To help beginners achieve these goals better, Shanghai Music Publishing House has specially released audio cassettes accompanying these two exercise books.
