Features: Since the beginning of the 21st century, with the renewal of concepts, the development of Chinese folk music has blossomed like colorful flowers in a garden. Folk music ensembles in various regions have made their own developments based on their unique characteristics. Due to the limitations of folk music ensembles, especially in terms of composition, as well as the lack of compositions, teaching materials, and audio resources needed for the development of folk music, and the scarcity of conductors and instructors for folk music ensembles after entering the market operation mechanism, there has been a greater shortage of innovative and outstanding works that break through conventional norms. This collection features small and medium-sized folk music ensemble pieces by renowned composers such as Gu Guiren, Zhou Chenglong, Zeng Jiagqing, Fu Peihua, Zhu Xiaogu, Yang Chunlin, and Chen Dawei, which have long become staple repertoire for both professional and amateur ensembles. To standardize and improve the rehearsal and performance levels of ensembles, we have specifically recorded each piece as a CD. These demonstration CDs not only reflect the original intent of the works but also showcase the level of the Shanghai Youth Folk Music Ensemble. This collection provides specific rehearsal tips for each piece and offers the editors' own suggestions on the rehearsal and guidance of folk music ensembles, hoping to play a certain role in the rehearsals of folk music ensembles!
