Features: This is a piano teaching material compiled for beginners. When learning this textbook, please note the following tips:
1. This is a quick-learning textbook, aiming for a more effective learning outcome. It enables beginners to play pieces in the shortest time possible, building confidence.
2. The principle of this textbook's arrangement is to achieve ideal musical effects with the simplest techniques, avoiding continuous difficulties or complications for beginners during the learning process.
3. To master the technique of improvisational accompaniment, all pieces in this book use only two accompaniment methods: the flowing chord (playing chord tones in sequence) and the non-flowing chord (playing chord tones simultaneously). Mastering these two methods means grasping the essence of improvisational accompaniment.
4. Except for pieces with tempo markings, all other pieces should be played at a moderate speed.
5. During the practice phase, all pieces should be played slowly, with both hands and wrists remaining natural and relaxed.
6. On the piano, the finger numbering for both hands is the same: the thumb is 1, the index finger is 2, the middle finger is 3, the ring finger is 4, and the little finger is 5, all marked with Arabic numerals. When practicing, follow the fingerings strictly. Only by fixing the fingerings can proficiency be achieved. Changing fingerings each time will hinder mastery.
7. The order of pieces in this book is basically arranged according to their technical difficulty. When practicing, you may make minor adjustments based on the pieces you are familiar with or prefer.
8. The first three or four pieces should be practiced to a high level of proficiency before moving on. For example, the first three pieces may take ten days each to master, while subsequent pieces might take only one day per piece.
