Features: This book chronicles the growth process of Phoenix TV News Channel, a news channel covering the mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Originally not well-known, the channel created numerous "firsts" in live broadcasting major events worldwide, including the 9/11 incident, the Afghanistan War, the Iraq War, the Chechen War, and the Moscow and Beslan hostage crisis. When these events of sufficient significance to alter world history appeared on Phoenix screens, the channel also became a significant role in the history of Chinese and world news.
