Features: Hu Fei is a successful company executive who appears to have a happy family but secretly has a pure-hearted lover. To buy a villa for his lover, he guaranteed a loan. Later, the loan borrower suddenly died, leading him to bankruptcy. His life changed drastically—his company collapsed, his lover left him, and his family disintegrated. All these misfortunes of life fell upon him at once. Faced with such a huge contrast, his psychology lost balance, and he had to change his identity and move to the unfamiliar city of Hei Cheng to live. In Hei Cheng, he experienced the torment of emotions, friendships, and survival as an ordinary man. His psychology unraveled with the disappearance of his cohabiting girlfriend An Fen, his friend Ren Zhijun's hedonistic lifestyle, the persistent and woman Sun Li, and the sudden suicide of the woman he liked, all of which peeled away layers of the male mind. Through a woman's unique perspective, the female author depicts the exhaustion of a man's soul and the hidden wounds of his spirit, attempting to remind people to pay attention to men, to their physical and mental health.
