Features: As the ancient saying goes, "Literature and calligraphy are one," implying that literature and calligraphy are fundamentally of the same origin. Using literature to express meaning and calligraphy to convey emotions has increasingly become an indispensable part of people's cultural life. Tang poetry, a glorious mark of ancient Chinese literature, serves as an excellent model for calligraphy. On one hand, it allows one to appreciate the dual functions of Chinese characters—both practical and aesthetic—while on the other hand, it offers a profound artistic and aesthetic experience. With this in mind, this book, Tang Poetry in Multiple Calligraphic Styles—Three Hundred Poems, was created. Chinese calligraphy has a long and rich history, and during its development, it has formed various styles. To enable calligraphy enthusiasts to fully grasp the essence of calligraphic art, this book presents works in multiple styles and formats. To facilitate readers in practicing a single style, the book is organized in the following order: Regular script, running script, clerical script, Wei script, seal script, and Fangsong script. Running script, being the most widely used style among readers, occupies the largest portion of the book, and elements of thin gold script and cursive script have been specially incorporated into some of the creative works. This book serves not only as a calligraphy practice guide but also as a reference for calligraphers and a source for enthusiasts to appreciate and collect. To better showcase the characteristics of traditional calligraphy, the book includes traditional characters in the regular script, running script, and clerical script sections. Additionally, to assist readers in identification and recognition, simplified characters are added to the difficult-to-read and write running and cursive scripts, as well as seal script. To highlight the natural beauty of calligraphy, all works are presented without punctuation marks. If this causes inconvenience to readers, we apologize! The art of calligraphy is vast and profound, and it is inevitable that there may be imperfections or errors in this book. We sincerely welcome criticism and corrections from all readers. Finally, we hope that every friend who loves calligraphy can practice a standardized yet personalized calligraphic style!
