Features: The third edition of "Clinical Gastroenterology Atlas" has undergone substantial revisions compared to previous editions. Taking this opportunity for revision, we have updated both the text and images to reflect the progress over the past 10 years, particularly in the field of digestive imaging. This atlas continues to visually illustrate the normal and abnormal anatomy, histology, endoscopy, and radiology of the digestive tract through a wealth of illustrations, accompanied by relevant textual explanations. As before, we do not intend for the atlas to serve as a textbook on gastrointestinal or hepatobiliary diseases, and therefore it should not be used as, or considered to be, a textbook in these areas. However, we expect the annotations and illustrations to become a useful and convenient reference source for understanding various aspects of the normal and abnormal digestive tract. We are confident that this atlas and its electronic version will again hold an important position in gastroenterology teaching at various levels.
