Features: On a summer afternoon, little Alice and her sister sat by the river. The hot weather of the afternoon made her drowsy. Suddenly, she saw a white rabbit with pink eyes run past her. The rabbit talked to itself while running and took out a gold watch from its coat pocket to look at the time. Alice followed curiously and jumped into a large rabbit hole. She fell for a long time before landing on a pile of dry leaves. She continued to follow the rabbit into a hall with many doors around. In the center of the hall, there was a gold key on a table. She used the key to open a small door, which led to a beautiful garden. The door was too small, so Alice drank the drink on the table and shrank into a 10-inch tall person. But she was too short to reach the key on the table. She ate the cake under the table and grew to 9 feet tall. Still, she couldn’t fit through the door. She cried in frustration and her tears formed a lake. At this moment, the rabbit appeared and was startled by Alice’s size. Alice used the fan that fell when the rabbit was scared to fan herself and shrink back into a small person. She accidentally fell into the tear lake. In the lake, she met a mouse and a large group of birds and animals. Everyone swam ashore. To dry off, the Dodo bird suggested a group race. Later, Alice told the story of the cat, scaring away all the animals. At this point, the rabbit returned and mistook Alice for a maid, ordering her to bring another pair of gloves and a fan from his house. At the rabbit’s house, Alice found a bottle of drink. After drinking half of it, her body grew and filled the entire room, leaving her unable to move. The rabbit and the other animals threw stones at her, but the stones turned into cakes. Alice ate them and immediately shrank again. She escaped and ran into the forest. In the forest, she met a dog much larger than herself. After escaping, Alice came under a large mushroom. On the mushroom sat a big green worm smoking a pipe. The big green worm told Alice that the mushroom could make her grow taller or shorter. She ate the mushroom and returned to her original size. She walked into the Duchess’s house, where she met the fierce Duchess, a crying child, a rude cook, and the Cheshire Cat, who always smiled broadly. The Duchess was in a hurry to attend a croquet game organized by the Queen and left the child with Alice. To her surprise, the child turned into a pig, and Alice put it in the forest. Next, Alice went to the March Hare’s house and joined the mad tea party held by the March Hare, the Hatter, and the Dormouse. They were bizarre and rude in their behavior. Alice left there and returned to the original hall through a door in the tree, entering the garden that the gold key opened. In the garden, Alice met the King and Queen of Hearts and was invited to the croquet game. This was a dangerous game because the Queen would shout to cut off his or her head at any moment. After the game ended, the Queen had the Eagle-Headed Lion take Alice to see the fake turtles. Alice heard strange stories from the poor fake turtle school. At this moment, the cry of "The trial begins" drew Alice’s attention. It was a trial of the "thief" who stole the tarts—the Jack of Hearts, a ridiculous and unreasonable trial. Alice was called to court. Because she refused to testify for the absurdity, the furious Queen ordered her head to be cut off. Alice struggled and awoke, realizing it had all been a dream.
