Features: Gansu boasts abundant tourism resources, with its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural landscapes. The vibrant ethnic customs and folk culture of the region inspire us to compile the "Gansu Transportation and Tourism Atlas." Focusing primarily on maps with supplementary brief text, we present Gansu's convenient transportation and rich tourism resources in a visually engaging format, allowing readers to acquire essential knowledge and information in a relaxed and enjoyable way. The atlas mainly consists of two parts: the general map and the city (prefecture) maps. The general map comprises six sections, each providing an overview of the province, covering administrative divisions, landforms and landscapes, transportation, major highway routes, tourism, and a thematic introduction to the Silk Road. The city (prefecture) maps include 14 sections, with each unit consisting of an introduction, a transportation and tourism map, and an administrative division map. Some also feature tourism schematic diagrams and tour guide maps. The transportation and tourism maps employ a combination of scenic symbols, photographs, text charts, and maps with hachure rendering of landforms, vividly and intuitively depicting the transportation and tourism conditions of each city (prefecture). To assist travelers, we have also included information on selected international and domestic travel agencies, foreign-invested hotels, and China's Western tourism resources.
