Features: Jiangxi Province derives its name from the establishment of Jiangnan West Circuit by Emperor Xuanzong of Tang in 733 AD. It is also abbreviated as "Jiangxi" due to the presence of the major river, the Gan River. The provincial capital is Nanchang City. Located in southeastern China on the southern bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, Jiangxi is a basin-shaped region surrounded by mountains on three sides, opening towards Poyang Lake. The transportation system of Jiangxi is a three-dimensional network composed of railways, highways, inland waterways, and aviation, offering convenience and efficiency. The railway network is centered around Nanchang, with Jiujiang and Yingtan as hubs, connecting the entire province. Highway construction primarily focuses on several major highways such as Nanjiu (Nanchang-Jiujiang), Jiujiang-Jingdezhen, and Changtai (Changfu-Taihe), supplemented by national highways like G105, G206, G316, G319, G320, and G323, as well as hundreds of provincial and county roads, forming the province's highway network. Inland waterways are concentrated in Poyang Lake and the Gan River. Aviation is centered around Nanchang, with routes reaching major cities across the country. Jiangxi Province boasts abundant tourism resources. Natural attractions include Lushan Mountain, Jinggangshan Mountain, Sanqing Mountain, Longhu Mountain, Poyang Lake Bird Protection Area, Meiling, and Wuyuan. Cultural attractions include the Pavilion of Prince Teng, the August 1st Memorial Hall, and the Jingdezhen Porcelain Museum. Numerous urban parks, squares, and tourist resorts are also popular destinations for visitors. This book primarily provides readers with information on transportation and tourism. The content is divided into several sections: Preface Maps, Detailed Transportation Maps, Urban Plans, and Tourism. The Preface Maps depict administrative divisions, transportation (highways, railways, waterways, aviation), and tourism topics. The Detailed Transportation Maps, organized by prefecture-level cities, provide detailed information on the mileage of various highways, railways, stations, and tourist attractions. The Urban Plans show the current urban landscapes of the provincial capital and prefecture-level city centers. The Tourism section focuses on major tourist areas such as Nanchang, Jiujiang, and Jingdezhen, offering practical information on transportation, admission fees, and other details, accompanied by beautiful images. This book aims to provide convenience for readers traveling and exploring in Jiangxi Province. It is only a general reference and should not be used as a basis for actions or decisions.
