It took over three years to comprehensively and accurately record the development of Suzhou's handicrafts, collecting 80 varieties of handicrafts across seven categories, vividly showcasing the city's traditional craftsmanship with 220,000 words. The book truthfully documents 7 categories and 80 varieties, featuring both text and illustrations, history and stories, systematically introducing the general outline of Suzhou's handicrafts.
