Features: This book was conducted by a research team from Shandong University and the Cultural, Tourism, and Qi Culture Research Center of Linzi District, which spent three years on specialized research. The team visited and studied world-renowned heritage sites such as the ruins of Rome in Italy, the Mayan cultural sites in Mexico, the pyramids of Egypt, the Yoshino-ri Historical Park and the Yayoi cultural sites in Japan, etc. They examined policies, technologies, methods, and models for the protection, development, and utilization of these sites, learning advanced experiences and development concepts from foreign countries. Through learning, reflection, comparison, and discussion, the team aimed to produce a research report with practical significance for the protection and utilization of Qi cultural heritage, making it a groundbreaking work that could achieve a win-win outcome in both the protection and utilization of Qi cultural heritage. This research report was formed after three years of investigation and study under the aforementioned background. It should be noted that some content in the report belongs to a design concept—the final outcome of the research team is The Planning of the Ancient Qi City Ruins Park. The research report serves as the preliminary strategic research phase of this planning project, forming sister outcomes upstream and downstream of the planning and design solutions.
