Features: "The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)" is a Japanese language proficiency examination organized by the Japan Foundation worldwide, possessing absolute authority. The certificates obtained from the test are recognized both domestically and internationally. The examination levels are ranked as Level 4, Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1, with Level 4 being the foundation and Level 1 being the highest. The test content is divided into three parts: "Vocabulary and Grammar," "Listening," and "Reading and Grammar." This book is specifically designed for Level 3 and Level 4 candidates to study and master "Vocabulary and Grammar." The features of this book are as follows:
1. Based on the requirements of the "JLPT Test Specifications" published by the Japan Foundation and the Japan Foundation in 2002, and referencing the actual past exam questions and their difficulty levels, this book provides question analysis materials to help candidates prepare for the exam in a targeted manner.
2. Following the question types and quantities of Level 3 and Level 4 vocabulary and grammar, we have compiled practical exercises for each type. Specifically, we have created five types of exercises corresponding to the five question types shared by Level 3 and Level 4, aiming to help candidates improve their comprehension through self-assessment training and ultimately excel in the Level 3 and Level 4 exams.
3. To help candidates understand the methods and pathways for taking the exam, grasp the total score and passing score, and recognize the similarities and differences in the question-setting methods for Level 3 and Level 4, this book provides a dedicated introduction and comparative analysis in the opening chapter. This ensures that all candidates who own this book will clearly understand the key knowledge points and difficulty levels for vocabulary and grammar when preparing for Level 1 or Level 2 in the future, remaining confident and ultimately achieving success.
4. This book includes over 4,000 vocabulary entries for Level 3 and Level 4 in the appendix. Among them, words prefixed with an asterisk () are Level 4 vocabulary, numbering over 3,000. These Level 4 words, combined with those without an asterisk, constitute Level 3 vocabulary. Words followed by a star [★] are important vocabulary, and the more stars a word has, the more frequently it has appeared in past JLPT exams, indicating that it should be given high attention.
