Features: To adapt to the revival and development of the textile industry in China after its entry into the WTO, as well as the needs of technical exchanges and information dissemination between China and other countries; at the same time, to meet the learning and understanding of basic knowledge in textiles, dyeing, and clothing for textile professionals and students of textile colleges and universities, as well as the convenience of carrying and using it, we selected some common general professional terms from the "Comprehensive Edition of English-Chinese Textile Industry Vocabulary" published by China Textile Publishing House in 1994. Additionally, we have supplemented some commonly used terms related to clothing, computers, and business trade. It is published in a pocketbook format for use by textile professionals, scientific and technological personnel, students of textile colleges and universities, translators, business and trade personnel, and other learners. The original dictionary contained 11,000 entries. After deleting some outdated, non-existent, or obsolete terms, we have selected approximately 6,500 commonly used general terms related to computers, clothing, and business trade. Therefore, the current dictionary contains approximately 17,000+ entries, mainly including common terms related to spinning, chemical fibers, silk weaving, machine weaving, knitting, dyeing and printing, sewing, cutting, clothing, and computers, covering processes, equipment, raw materials, products, and testing.
