Publish Date: 1999-07-01
Features: This book is divided into four parts: Twin Games, Weak Games, Strong Games, and Multi-Games. Each part has twenty chapters, with five examples in each chapter. Practical compositions are a relatively new type of composition, though artificially created, they are highly technical and very practical, making them worth promoting. Today, they are increasingly valued in the chess world. The pioneering chess player Chen Liangyong, in his book "Cannon Special Collection," published new interesting compositions, setting an example for this type of composition. While organizing "The Complete Collection of International Chess Compositions," the author was deeply inspired and, using the principle of "borrowing stones to break jade," applied themes from world-famous games to Chinese chess compositions. Due to the unique artistic nature of the latter, the significance of the works was greatly enhanced. The author's compositions are categorized into four types: simple games, ingenious games, profound games, and graphical games. This book primarily selects ingenious games, with only a few examples chosen from the other types.
