Publishing Date: Not available
Features: This textbook is divided into chapters according to the various specialties within medical laboratory science. Each chapter is divided into three sections:
Section 1 covers basic theories, discussing the relevant physiological, biochemical, immunological, hematological, and microbiological foundations related to the chapter.
Section 2 focuses on basic knowledge, primarily addressing the intrinsic connections between the chapter and clinical diagnosis and treatment, as well as their clinical significance.
Section 3 introduces commonly used techniques, methods, and procedures in clinical laboratory practice.
With the development of medical laboratory science, its foundational theories, basic knowledge, and essential techniques are also evolving. Therefore, during this revision, we have carefully removed outdated or obsolete content while incorporating new foundational theories, knowledge, and techniques.
Given the fundamental and critical role of morphological testing in medical laboratory science, coupled with the limited exposure many young laboratory professionals currently have to morphology, this textbook has been specifically enriched with additional morphological illustrations. We hope this will help raise awareness within the laboratory community about the importance of morphological examinations.
