Features: "The Song of an Ordinary Person" by Chen Youren is a collection jointly compiled by China Shipping (Group) Corporation, the Communist Youth League Shanghai Municipal Committee, and the Shanghai Hope Project Office. It mainly includes more than 30 exclusive reports from the newspaper, as well as 90 letters written by Chen Youren to Pu Yanyan, a Hunan Dong ethnic girl he assisted in education. The collection fully showcases the moving stories of Chen Youren, a police officer from Shanghai Shipping Public Security Bureau and a Communist Party member, who practices the socialist concept of honor and disgrace. His ordinary life, though lacking earth-shaking achievements, reflects the great spirit of an "ordinary person" through his dedication to his job and willingness to help others.
