Features: To adapt to new situations and welcome the 2008 Beijing Olympics, we have revised and rewritten this book based on the original, introducing the new face of our motherland to our Japanese friends. Titled Japanese Simulated Tour Guide, this book is fresh in content, concise, practical, targeted, and adapted to new circumstances, using Japanese to introduce our country's newly constructed achievements, famous scenic spots, and customs and culture. The book is divided into twenty-six chapters. The first four chapters introduce the new face of Beijing, the next sixteen chapters cover various famous scenic spots, and the final six chapters introduce food culture, shopping, and entertainment activities. Each chapter combines historical and cultural context with tourist attractions as the main thread, incorporating anecdotes and interesting stories for on-site tours. In terms of language expression, we strive for standard, natural, and engaging phrasing. For common objects and scenes, we emphasize using different expressions to make them more captivating, providing sufficient lively and dynamic material for tour guides and learners to flexibly use and express themselves. To facilitate learning and use, all the Kanji characters in this book are annotated with Kana, the Japanese pronunciation, because many Kanji characters are difficult to read, especially those related to scenic spots and their pronunciations, which are even more complex. Although annotating Kana is a tedious and meticulous task, we believe it is highly necessary to make it suitable for various users.
