Features: Bookplates are not only symbols of book owners but also miniature artworks that can be appreciated and collected, possessing unique practical and artistic value. The tradition of bookplates originated in mid-15th century Europe. Around the May Fourth Movement, figures like Lu Xun advocated for the emergence of new woodblock prints, while Western bookplate art was introduced to China. In the 1980s, particularly after the establishment of the "Chinese Woodblock Print and Bookplate Research Society" in 1984, the art of bookplates rapidly spread and flourished across the country. This delicate and exquisite art form has grown increasingly beloved by the Chinese people. In 1988, China joined the "International Federation of Bookplate Societies." Since then, Chinese bookplates have been exhibited abroad and have received acclaim. Bookplate Landscapes (including the Literature Volume, Collection Volume, and Creation Volume) is a selected collection of outstanding works from the "Cross-Strait Bookplate Exhibition" held to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. It not only holds great artistic and collectible value but also carries significant historical and contemporary meaning.
