Book Collector. Issue 10

Author: Qilu Book Society
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2005-02-01
Features: This issue involved considerable deliberation and effort from the editors, who continuously revised the manuscript, compressed the layout, and tried to accommodate more articles. However, due to limitations in space and word count, many articles could not be included, and it was no longer possible to squeeze them into future issues—as this issue marks the end of The Book Collector's publication. Although the editors aimed to conclude it gracefully and leave a strong final impression, some regrets remain. Since its inception, The Book Collector has relied on the trust and support of the editorial team from the publishing house, which has been both the spiritual and material backbone of the publication. Additionally, senior scholars and collectors, despite their advanced age and frailty, have generously contributed nearly every issue, ensuring the journal's prestige and quality. Many friends, whether in the north or south, have not only regularly contributed articles but also enthusiastically helped the editors solicit and review manuscripts, providing fresh vitality to The Book Collector. Furthermore, the new generation of (folk book collectors) and enthusiasts who love The Book Collector have not only become its core readership but have also continuously sent letters and manuscripts, offering suggestions and insights that have enriched its content and made it more relevant to contemporary reading lives.
