Features: By chance, I came across a very touching article about love during teaching. Later, when I shared it with students, they were all very interested. This inspired the idea of collecting such articles. On one hand, it could be a way to uplift my mood, and on the other, it could serve as translation practice for students. Thus, the small booklet you see today came into being. I personally believe that every story in this book is worth reading and deeply moving. While motivational books are not uncommon in the market, most are focused on success. We titled it "Learn English Through Motivational Stories" rather than a simple success-motivational book. The selected articles may not be long, but they carry profound meanings, and I am sure readers will find them hard to put down. "Motivational" can be translated into English as "inspiring," a word that not only means to encourage but also to inspire and evoke emotions. Therefore, a good motivational book should not just include stories of famous people's success. Based on this consideration, we divided the book into sections such as "Care," "Attitude," "Courage," "Friendship," "Happiness," "Life," and "Success," aiming to let readers enjoy motivational stories from different perspectives and gain both pleasure and inspiration from reading. This book is a bilingual edition, suitable for beginners and intermediate English learners. The selected articles are in authentic English, something that cannot be learned from ordinary textbooks. While enjoying beautiful prose, readers can also learn natural English, which is a win-win situation. This is the very purpose of compiling this book! The translators of this book are all professional teachers from universities, and they strive for excellence in translation, leaving no room for negligence. Despite this, due to the limited abilities of the editors, flaws may still exist in the book. We sincerely welcome readers and fellow professionals to point them out!
