Publishing Date: 2005-07-01
Features: With the continuous development of pharmaceutical science, the new uses of many drugs have been gradually discovered. Some commonly overlooked drugs have gained prominence after being found to have surprising clinical applications, while others have evolved from general drugs into multi-functional drugs after being identified with multiple clinical uses. In clinical practice, combined and mixed drug use are common medical measures. Proper combination and mixing can enhance efficacy or reduce side effects, whereas improper use may increase side effects or decrease efficacy, highlighting the importance of rational drug combinations. Based on clinical needs, this book focuses on these two aspects. In addition to the medical books listed, the references cited in this book also include more than 20 medical journals (covering hundreds of issues). The term "combination" in this book refers to the concurrent use of drugs, while "mixing" refers to the administration of multiple drugs in a single injection. For easy reference, "rational combinations" are categorized into two major groups: "drugs that can be combined with [specific drug]" and "drugs that should not be combined with [specific drug]." However, flexibility should be exercised when prescribing medications, and one-size-fits-all approaches should be avoided.
