Does intracranial hemorrhage have any sequelae?

Patient's question:

My baby previously, because of spitting up milk suddenly while feeding, got a lot of it on her, and then the baby lost consciousness. No matter how we called or tapped her, she didn't wake up. We took her to a big hospital for some tests, and they said it was an intracranial hemorrhage. What are the aftereffects of intracranial hemorrhage?

Doctor's answer:

If the bleeding is minimal and not in a functional area, the hematoma can be absorbed or resolved after treatment, leading to a complete cure. If the bleeding is significant and located in a functional area, it may cause brain damage, limb damage, paralysis, aphasia, and in severe cases, life-threatening bleeding, resulting in a vegetative state. If the damage occurs in the motor center, it may also lead to severe paralysis and mental symptoms in the patient.
