Jin Huai Er Du (Complete Two Volumes)

Author: Wang Shixiang
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2007-01-18
Features: Except for a few chapters and a handful of poems, all the works collected in Two Stacks were written after Wang Shixiang compiled Fleeting Fragments in 1996. At that time, his left eye was already blind, and his right eye's cataracts were worsening, making writing extremely difficult. As a result, there were very few manuscripts, most of which were short pieces. He considered Fleeting Fragments even more trivial and, feeling deeply ashamed, ashamed. Now, at the age of eighty-nine, his energy is declining, and he knows he can no longer compile a Third Stack. Wang Shixiang selected Fleeting Fragments: Two Stacks as a continuation of Fleeting Fragments. Except for a few chapters and poems, all the rest were written after the publication of Fleeting Fragments. Volume One includes seven categories: Reminiscences, Calligraphy and Painting, Furniture, Lacquerware, Crafts, Leisure Activities, and Miscellaneous Manuscripts, totaling over sixty pieces. Volume Two includes twenty-six poems, as well as three rare and valuable ancient texts: Painting Explanations, New Methods for Training Hawks and Falcons, and New Words on Furnaces.
