Features: This is a powerful work that provides a detailed account of the inner workings of the People's Liberation Army's (PLA) deployment to Hong Kong. To fulfill the great mission and glorious task of a "peaceful handover," the PLA selected outstanding grassroots officers. After undergoing rigorous training and further elimination, a vanguard team was formed to enter Hong Kong in advance, preparing for the smooth return on "July 1st." Facing tight deadlines and arduous tasks, they confronted numerous difficulties and obstacles brought by the British forces in Hong Kong, certain sectors of Hong Kong society, and other external factors. They fully demonstrated the fine traditions and mature demeanor of modern Chinese soldiers, not only successfully completing the mission but also building a solid emotional bridge between Hong Kong and the motherland.
