Features: To prepare for the 2008 Olympic Games, accelerate the cultivation of high-level sports academic and technical talents in China, and promote the sustainable development of China's sports industry, the National Sports Administration held the "2004 High-Level Sports Academic and Technical Talent Training Course" from November 16 to December 4, 2004. The training course was divided into two phases. The first phase was from November 16 to 22 and took place at the National Sports Administration Cadre Training Center. The second phase was from December 1 to 4 and took place at the Russian State University of Physical Culture and Sports. The training course adopted various methods such as expert lectures, seminars, and discussions among trainees, field studies, and thesis writing. Over 30 high-level academic and technical personnel from the National Sports Administration's Research Institute, Sports Medicine Institute, Beijing Sport University, relevant sports management centers, and local research institutes and sports universities participated in the training. During the domestic training period, the trainees listened to thematic reports from experts and professors from universities such as Peking University, the China Science and Technology Museum, the Science and Education Department of the National Sports Administration, and the Research Institute of Sport Science on scientific frontiers, philosophy, trends in science and technology, sports research and technological innovation, and sports science and technology services. At the same time, the trainees exchanged research results.
