Features: The table of contents introduction of this book: Animals; Family Members; Computers; Boss, Employee, Colleagues; Doctors and Patients; Due to different cultural backgrounds, Western humor often differs greatly from Eastern humor. For English learners, it is often difficult to grasp the punchline of English jokes. For example, the sentence "I love animals—they are delicious." only has its humor in the English-speaking world because almost all animals can be used as food in Chinese culture, which is a part of Chinese dietary culture, so there is nothing extraordinary about it. However, for Westerners, animals are close companions of humans, and they also have the right to survive and develop. Therefore, it is the gluttonous animal lover who becomes the butt of the joke. Humor is a way and window to understand a culture, and the English jokes selected and compiled here are the best extensive materials for English learners to study the language. Only by understanding English syntax and grammar can one grasp the meaning of each passage and laugh heartily. And when you talk with foreign guests or friends, grasping their humor is undoubtedly one of your skills. Don’t wait until everyone else laughs before you realize it, becoming the one who laughs last and thinks slowest (the one who laughs last thinks slowest). This book collects over 200 hilarious jokes from 15 aspects such as computers, job seekers, teachers and students, lawyers, etc. The content is fresh, with a strong sense of the times and a touch of everyday life.
