Features: This book is the respiratory disease volume of the "Series of Clinical Experiences of Famous TCM Practitioners for Special Diseases." It is divided into two parts: the Disease Section and the Formulation Section. In the Disease Section, it references numerous domestic TCM publications that feature case studies and academic papers by renowned modern TCM masters. It collects their insights into respiratory diseases and their experiences in selecting formulas and medications. These are categorized and organized using disease names similar to those in modern medicine. Each disease includes an overview, experiences of famous TCM masters, and a concluding preface by the editors that summarizes and analyzes the clinical insights of these masters. In the Formulation Section, multiple effective formulas selected by renowned TCM masters for treating diseases are presented. Each formula includes composition, usage, efficacy, indications, explanation, and modifications, all concise and clear. Together, the two sections systematically and comprehensively reflect the academic thoughts, clinical experiences, and characteristics of the formulas by these masters. The first edition of this book was published in 2002 and was well-received, with multiple reprints. After revision, this edition features even more renowned masters who truly deserve their reputation, more detailed clinical experiences, and stronger guidance for clinical practice. New indexes—“Index of Famous TCM Masters in the Disease Section” and “Index of Formula Names in the Formulation Section”—have been added to the end of the book.
