Features: This is the third edition of the book, also the latest version of the century. 17 years ago, to promote the prevention and research of gynecological tumors, which had become the main threat to women's health at the time, Professor Lin Qiaozhi, despite her illness, led the obstetrics and gynecology physicians of Peking Union Medical College Hospital to summarize their experience, read a large number of literature, and wrote and personally edited the edition of Gynecological Tumors. The publication of the book was well-received by the field of obstetrics and gynecology and inspired many obstetrics and gynecology doctors to focus on the prevention and treatment of gynecological tumors as a key research topic. It was awarded as one of the National Outstanding Science and Technology Books. Nine years later, when the second edition was published, the editors and contributors were students or colleagues of Professor Lin Qiaozhi at the institutions affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. These experts, professors, and associate professors who had been engaged in gynecological tumor research for many years unanimously agreed to rename the second edition of Gynecological Tumors as Lin Qiaozhi's Gynecological Oncology, in memory of the contemporary medical ethics model, Professor Lin Qiaozhi, and in the hope of incorporating the rigorous yet sincere teachings of her mentor into the writing, as well as daily medical practice, teaching, and research. The and second editions of the book were printed multiple times and sold out, with some readers calling it a "reference book." We will be motivated by the encouragement of our readers to continue revising and improving the book. Building upon the rich theoretical foundation and practical experience of the original authors of the second edition of Gynecological Tumors, this book has further collected reports on the current trends and achievements of clinical experimental research on gynecological tumors both domestically and internationally, as well as the status of gynecological tumor research at institutions affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. The book consists of 66 chapters, not only adding many new contents on the diagnosis and treatment of tumors but also proposing many new effective combination chemotherapies, preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and other adjuvant treatments.
