Author Bio: Chen Gang was born and educated in Hangzhou. To date, he is the only Tour Guide Extraordinaire in East China's Zhejiang Province and the only professor from the English Language and Literature Department of Zhejiang University in January 1982. He began serving as an English-speaking guide interpreter and later as a manager of the Euro-American Department of China Travel Service. He is the author of West Lake Poetics, the chief translator of A Trip to Mountains and Rivers in Zhejiang Province, one of the few official translators of the Macmillan Encyclopedia, and his couplets have been featured in national and provincial academic publications.
