Yungang Grottoes: The usual route from Beijing to Yungang Grottoes is to take the Jingzhang Expressway and then connect to the XuanDa Expressway to Datong, and then take a tourist road directly to Yungang Grottoes. Alternatively, you can take the G108 National Highway, passing through Yuanyuan, Fanzhi, Daixian, Shanyin, and Huairen to Datong, and finally reach Yungang Grottoes. The entire journey is about 600 kilometers, with a driving time of about 12 hours. The road conditions are generally poor and not recommended for use.
