Features: China's Ministry of Education recently notified that all key research bases under the ministry must have their own regular academic journals, which must be in the form of formal magazines or electronic journals with fixed URLs. Journal of Linguistics (starting from Issue 26) is a regular academic collection of the Key Research Base of Chinese Language Research Center, Peking University, published by The Commercial Press twice a year. In line with the spirit of the aforementioned document, Journal of Linguistics will also establish an electronic journal. Starting from Issue 26, papers will be freely published on the "Peking University Academic Journals Network" (http://e-journals.pku.edu.cn/jour/index.aspx?jiid＝21) one year after publication. The published content will include: the Chinese and English titles, abstracts, and keywords of the articles; authors, funding sources, author affiliations, and correspondence addresses; references; and the chapters or introductory sections equivalent to the introduction. The establishment of the electronic journal is believed to be beneficial for papers to be indexed in relevant academic research databases, facilitating academic evaluation and exchange. This is hereby announced. And please note for contributors: submitting a paper implies the author's agreement to the publication of the article on the "Peking University Journals Network."
