It explores the fundamental questions of intellectual history and selects translated essays from prominent figures in the highly debated Cambridge School and Strauss School within the humanities and social sciences. Regarding discussions within the Chinese academic community, this journal collects papers from a symposium on Wang Hui's The Rise of Modern Chinese Thought. The journal aims to awaken "intellectual" from "history," carrying forward the great intellectual traditions of the East and West, fostering a broad and open perspective, breaking down academic barriers, connecting various disciplines, and returning to the vibrant origins of intellectual history research.
