Features: International trade conventions, laws, rules, and treaties are the products of long-term practices in international trade. However, once they are formed and established, they exert a profound influence on international trade practices, playing a guiding and restrictive role in the conduct and development of international trade. This book adopts a bilingual (Chinese-English) parallel format for its provisions. First, it facilitates reading and emphasizes the practical application of legal provisions. Second, it helps readers accurately grasp the provisions of the treaties. The explanation of each provision is a measure to focus on application and compress the content. The inclusion of case studies is intended to enhance reading and learning interest and deepen understanding. Providing a line-by-line explanation of international treaties is something no one has done before—it is indeed an attempt. And to undertake such work requires more courage than ability. One must be a versatile expert: proficient in legal English, strong in legal foundations. Not only must they possess extensive knowledge and experience in international transportation theory and practice, but they must also have comprehensive knowledge in international economics and trade, especially in this field. Their expertise must be broad, encompassing both past conditions and current developments and changes. Although I have been involved in international economic and trade theory and practice for 20 years, I still feel that my courage exceeds my ability when completing the manuscript.
