This book is both academically oriented and practice-oriented. These papers not only represent the highest level of Chinese social work research but also reflect the practical concerns of social workers. Moreover, they hold great significance for advancing the development of China's social welfare cause, establishing the theoretical system of Chinese social work, and improving the professional level and effectiveness of social work. Chinese Journal of Social Work is a professional series on social work research launched by the Chinese Association for Social Work Education. Since 2002, it has now reached its fourth issue. Chinese Journal of Social Work (Fourth Issue) is composed of three parts: local practice research in social work, theoretical exploration of social work and social welfare, and research on theories and experiences from abroad. It strives to balance theoretical and empirical research, as well as domestic and international studies, reflecting both contemporary research achievements and a historical review of the emergence and development of social work.
