Features: The "Postmodern City Series" is a research concept proposed in response to the changes occurring in contemporary Chinese cities. When I first proposed this idea, I received support from Ms. Xu Jin of Southeast University Press, who contributed significant work to this series. The authors of this series are all my doctoral students. While completing their studies, they have strived to compile this series, aiming to provide new ideas and perspectives in the process of urbanization in contemporary China. They hope to make more people aware of the changes happening in our living cities and to guide cities toward sustainable development that benefits humanity.
