Features: Moral education is a topic that must be handled with caution and serious thought as long as humans exist, because it concerns the personal and generational moral perfection of individuals, and consequently relates to the development prospects of a country or even the entire world. However, perhaps due to the increasing competitive pressure felt by contemporary Chinese people, or other reasons, it is undeniable that the actual weight of moral education in the current educational reality and in people's minds in China is far less significant than that of intellectual or physical education. This has given rise to an unavoidable negative consequence: the moral decline of a few has led to an increase in the cost of being a person for the vast majority of Chinese people. Against this backdrop, research and practice in moral education are now facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities. In terms of China's moral education community, many scholars and practitioners are actively exploring how to effectively enhance the practicality of contemporary Chinese moral education, a pressing issue of the times. Through years of exploration and research, many people have turned their attention to life-based moral education, making it a topic almost everyone knows and can speak about in some way in contemporary Chinese moral education. In this context, in order to highlight the research focus and a touch of novelty of this book as much as possible, the book proposes to systematically examine life-based moral education from a tripartite perspective—psychology, cultural studies, and education—to ensure that life-based moral education truly grows in its own cultural soil and thrives in accordance with the laws of psychology and education.
