Author: (Qing) Hang Shijun
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 1997-04-01
Features: The "" includes not only Hang Shijun's reading notes but also texts selected by him from other scholars' works. The shortest are over ten words, while the longest do not exceed three to four hundred words. None are empty or vague arguments, hence it is called [The Treasure of Scholars' Efforts] (as noted in Liu Chenggàn's preface). Such a treasure naturally attracts the attention of academic researchers. For example, in Volume 3, the entry [] includes Yang Shen's insight on the 's "" where [] should be read as [], which was adopted by the collation notes of the "" published by Zhonghua Book Company. Hang Shijun, when selecting others' texts, not only notes the sources but also adds annotations in some cases. These annotations may appear as small notes within the text or at the end of the entry. Some of these annotations provide supplementary information, such as the case note on []: [Also seen in Zhao Sheng's "," "" also mentions this, and "" states the same. Tian Chaoheng's "" also references it].
