Features: Guided by the spirit of the Opinions of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of Education on the Setting and Implementation of Curriculum Arrangements for "Two Courses" in Ordinary Universities, we compiled this "Introduction to the Dialectics of Nature" under the organization and leadership of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission of the CPC and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, as a general textbook for postgraduate courses in Marxist theory. The guiding principle for compiling the textbook is to combine the history and current state of scientific and technological development with the actual modernization construction of our country. On the basis of fully absorbing the research achievements of the theoretical circles of the dialectics of nature in our country and the reasonable components of modern academic trends in the West, we focus on elaborating the basic viewpoints of Marxist views on nature, science, and scientific and technological methodology, demonstrating the unity of ideological, scientific, and knowledge-oriented nature to reflect advanced science and technology culture.
