The series consists of five volumes, including Yellow and Old Governance and Its Practice by Zhang Zengtian, Research on Jia Yi's Rites Governance Thought by Tang Xiongshan, Research on the Governance Thought in Huainanzi by Dai Shu, Research on Liu Shao's Talent Thought by Yan Shiping, and Research on Xun Yue's Governance Thought by Cheng Yuhong. Editor-in-Chief Li Honglei pointed out in his over 10,000-word Preface to the Series that: "Traditional Chinese governance is the original form of ancient Chinese thought, with extremely rich ideological connotations. Unearthing this profound and extensive ideological resource is of great significance and role, whether for establishing the subjectivity of Chinese thought research or for establishing a reasonable social and spiritual order in the contemporary world, thereby promoting the sustainable development of human civilization." It is believed that the publication of this series will further promote and deepen the research on original Chinese traditional thought and culture.
