Features: Marxist political science is an important part of Marxist theory and also a compulsory political theory course for students in higher education institutions. In recent years, with the deepening of China's reform and opening-up, it has become a rather popular topic on campus whether to study this course well and teach it well. According to the requirements of the reform of teaching methods proposed by the leadership of Zhejiang University, we organized some core teaching staff from universities in Zhejiang Province who are engaged in teaching the theory of Marxist political economy to compile this textbook, Modern Political Economy. The basic starting point for compiling this textbook is to base it on the theory of Marxist political economy, combining the actual development of the world economy and the actual development of China's socialist economic construction. It strives to provide new interpretations of major issues in contemporary economic life, enabling students to learn the basic principles, stance, and methods of Marxist political economy during their studies, while also making realistic perceptions and judgments about contemporary capitalism and socialism. This serves the cause of reform and opening-up and socialist economic construction.
