Features: Li Youbang and the Taiwan Volunteer Corps he directly organized and led were "the only armed force organized by Taiwanese people and calling for Taiwan." Therefore, it can be regarded as the representative of Taiwanese compatriots participating in the motherland's anti-Japanese war and a symbol of their support for the motherland's anti-Japanese resistance" (Li Yunhan, The Historical Origins of the National Revolution and the Liberation of Taiwan, p. 113). Their deeds are deeply moving. However, the patriotic nationalist Li Youbang, who remained committed to anti-Japanese resistance and patriotism throughout his life, was unjustly executed during Taiwan's White Terror in 1952, a tragedy that leaves one filled with regret and lament. To let more people learn about Li Youbang's heroic deeds and promote the patriotic revolutionary tradition of Taiwanese compatriots, we took up our pen to write this small pamphlet.
