Features: The legal profession system is an important component of a country's democratic and legal development. Currently, the development of the legal profession system in China has shown trends of internationalization of legal services, large-scale law firms, and specialization in legal practice. This book conducts a comparative study from the perspectives of basic principles and institutional analysis on the historical origins, current status, essential characteristics, and specific systems of legal profession systems in China and other countries. In response to the current state of China's legal profession system and in conjunction with China's entry into the WTO, the book proposes relevant suggestions for further improving the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Legal Profession." It also puts forward new ideas for reforming the management system of the legal profession and strengthening the legal profession system in China. For issues that are not yet regulated by laws and regulations, the book engages in academic discussions by combining theory and practice. Although some of the research on these issues still needs further depth, the raising of these issues is beneficial in broadening the research scope on the legal profession system, deepening people's understanding of the legal profession system, and promoting the improvement of China's legal profession system.
