Features: Taoism regards "the Dao" as its highest belief. The Dao we believe in embodies "emptiness," possessing infinite inclusivity. Therefore, we are promoting the spirit of tolerance. There exist diverse cultures and religions in the world, each with its own unique differences. We believe that these differences do not necessarily lead to conflict. Taoism advocates "the Dao follows nature." Nature is composed of countless diverse species, yet its functioning is harmonious and orderly. If we can tolerate each other and respect one another's beliefs, values, and ways of life, we will surely live in harmony. To promote greater harmony in social tolerance, Taoism advocates the spirit of "unity and benevolence." The term "unity and benevolence" means having a compassionate heart toward all people, regardless of their closeness or social status. Taoism hopes that people will rejoice in others' happiness, pity their suffering, help those in danger, and rescue those in urgent need. It encourages seeing others' gains as one's own and others' losses as one's own. If everyone harbors such benevolence in their hearts, what conflicts cannot be resolved? Now, the Foreign Languages Press has invited the Chinese Taoist Association to edit and publish Chinese Taoism for distribution both domestically and internationally. This is to promote Taoist culture and encourage the exchange of Taoism with various cultures and religions around the world.
