Features: This book has the following features: Combining research on the adaptability of teaching, it places teaching within the macro context of overall education and even society, analyzing the demands of contemporary economy, politics, science, technology, and culture on talent cultivation. At the same time, based on Marxist humanistic theory, it studies the development needs of individuals in modern and future societies, clarifying the fundamental purpose of effective teaching and the essential criteria for measuring teaching effectiveness. Employing Marxist theories of practice and cognition, as well as contemporary systematic science, psychology, sociology, and cultural studies, it analyzes and explores the nature and laws of teaching from multiple perspectives and dimensions, integrating the cognitive and non-cognitive, controllable and situational, individual and social aspects comprehensively and holistically within the teaching and learning process, where teachers and students, as well as students themselves, interact through information exchange as a form and spiritual convergence as a substance, all as "complete living beings."
Based on the physiological mechanisms of the human brain revealed by contemporary brain physiology and neuroscience, and centered on the patterns of brain information processing and the construction of cognitive structures revealed by cognitive psychology, it comprehensively absorbs relevant research findings from behaviorist psychology, psychoanalytic psychology, and humanistic psychology, deeply exploring the psychological mechanisms and laws of student learning. It rationally reveals and elucidates the dialectical unity between the dynamic system, control system, and cognitive operating system in the learning mechanism, as well as the rational and irrational factors, conscious and unconscious aspects of cognition, and the relationships between mechanical and meaningful learning, receptive and discovery learning, as well as self-controlled and externally controlled learning.
Using historical and systematic analysis methods, it deeply explores the dialectical relationship between "teaching" and "learning" in the teaching process. Adhering to the principle of teaching based on learning, it studies the essence and laws of effective teaching after analyzing the essence and laws of effective learning, thereby constructing a theoretical system of effective teaching, including principles, models, methods and skills, evaluation, and effective teachers.
