As humanity enters the 21st century, it faces ecological crises due to conflicts between humans and nature, cultural crises due to conflicts between humans and society, moral crises due to conflicts between humans themselves, spiritual crises due to conflicts within the human heart, and value crises caused by conflicts between civilizations. Harmony Studies proposes five major principles—harmonious coexistence, harmonious coexistence, harmonious establishment, harmonious achievement, and harmonious love—to resolve these five conflicts and crises.
This book is divided into two volumes. The first volume discusses the definition of Harmony Studies, its logical system of "three realms and six layers" and "eight dimensions and four pairs," its overall structure, the pursuit of the spirit of harmony, the exploration of the origins of harmony, and the strategic conception of human culture in the 21st century. This volume aims to initiate the principles of Harmony Studies, transforming the "substance" of Harmony Studies into its "application," bringing Harmony Studies closer to society and everyday life. The second volume expands from cultural strategy conception to cultural strategy prediction, elaborating on the "eight dimensions" of the Harmony Studies system, namely: metaphysical harmony and harmonious natural science, moral harmony and harmonious ethics, humanistic harmony and harmonious anthropology, instrumental harmony and harmonious technology science, infrastructural harmony and harmonious economics, artistic harmony and harmonious aesthetics, social harmony and harmonious management, and goal harmony and harmonious decision-making, thereby reaching the way of harmony.
