Can the fish and the bear's paw be had together? Everyone dreams of a happy ending. With basic material needs met, life is an experience, and happiness is a realization. The feeling of joy comes from inner realization, and wealth has its spirit, just as the spirit has its wealth. The spirit of wealth is providing others with development space, the nation with financial resources, and society with employment and welfare—great fame and benefits. The wealth of the spirit lies in achieving the harmony of "because of selflessness, one can achieve selfishness," and "I for all, all for me," combining the utilitarianism of Confucianism and the universal virtue of moral achievement. Westerners advocate, "Man is not the master of being but its guardian." Easterners promote "cultivating virtue to carry all things," finding a way to achieve oneself while maximizing the achievement of others—a kind of honest happiness. The key lies in finding the true purpose of life, living with dignity and meaning. Life is, after all, a journey filled with difficulties yet not devoid of joy. As Wang Anshi, a Song Dynasty scholar, wrote in "Record of a Journey to Bao Chan Temple," the extraordinary and magnificent scenes of the world are often appreciated only by those with ambition and enough strength. Those who "have the strength to reach but fail to do so" may be mocked by others or regret it themselves; but those who "fully pursue their ambitions," even if they lack the strength to reach, are not also satisfied and happy? A thousand grand mansions, yet sleep on seven feet of space. Money can bring convenience to your life, but it may not bring lasting happiness. For a person who constantly moves forward in a limited life, continuously enriching their life experience and spirituality, money is sometimes only a byproduct.
