Features: Profound and natural; adaptive and innovative! Yet: and unreasonable, like a guest from the heavens; deceptive and topsy-turvy, almost beyond human words! However, when it guides, connects, delves into the profound, and instructs the unenlightened, it is far from mere idle talk or playful tricks! For this reason, whenever Zen practitioners compete and resonate with each other, if they encounter a master, it even makes one:
Dazed and exhilarated, like bathed in spring breeze;
Thunder from the heavens, thrilling and heart-stirring!
Why? Because when their skills clash and wisdom meets, it often allows for:
Pointing east while speaking west, eloquent and varied;
Teasing and scolding, like clapping and hitting!
Truly, it is: Changeable and unpredictable, with brilliant words;
Heart-melting and captivating!
Alas, it is already!
When explaining the "Diamond Sutra" in Zen, it divides its meaning into 100 chapters. Each chapter's "Diamond Discourse" and "profound words of enlightenment" are explained with Buddhist wisdom, interpreting the verses with reason! Sometimes metaphorical, sometimes illustrative; sometimes clapping, sometimes scolding; sometimes direct, sometimes inverse—all expressed with pure sincerity! Among them, there are poems, songs, essays, or verses, sometimes explicit, sometimes hidden, sometimes solemn, sometimes free, each with its own charm.
Moreover, it selects a painting or calligraphy from early works to match the Zen and Buddhist meaning of each chapter, enhancing the harmony!
