To better regulate the management of civil servants, protect their legitimate rights and interests, strengthen supervision over civil servants, build a high-quality civil servant team, promote diligence and integrity, and improve work efficiency, after summarizing more than a decade of practice, the Civil Servant Law was finally enacted, laying a solid foundation for further improving and perfecting the civil servant system. As an important component of China's political system and a new achievement in the construction of the civil servant system, the promulgation and implementation of the Civil Servant Law not only filled the legislative gap but more importantly, brought a substantial leap in the reform of the cadre and personnel system, a crucial aspect of political reform. To facilitate the study and understanding of the Civil Servant Law, colleagues who have long been engaged in research on the civil servant system and partially participated in the research and drafting of the Civil Servant Law have compiled this book. The book is organized according to the chapters of the Civil Servant Law, setting up questions for each provision to address the key and difficult points, providing detailed and specific answers. It includes explanations and definitions of terms, as well as elaborations and analyses of key and difficult issues, which are very helpful for understanding and mastering the spiritual essence and main content of the Civil Servant Law.
